About

Background, experience, and academic journey.

Bio

I research, create, and prototype in spaces that augment expertise, dissolve complexity, and help people live a better life. My passion lies in investigating how inventions and innovation across my research interests impact society. In recent years, I have focused on the fusion of hardware and software—exploring audio, AI, sensors, robotics, and perception to build systems that feel seamless and intuitive.

From surgical robotics to high-fidelity audio, I've impacted over a dozen products in the last few years at industry leaders like Google, Intuitive Surgical, and Bose. I thrive in the messy, exciting phase of rapid prototyping, turning abstract research into tangible reality. I am currently a Senior UXR at Google Labs leading research for CC, an experimental productivity agent.

I'm also deeply committed to sharing knowledge. I teach graduate and undergraduate students about AI, research, design, and creativity, helping the next generation find their voices. I collaborate with researchers, academics, and creators worldwide, always looking for the next interesting question to ask.
